Lugnet
This is the best -- and also the largest -- sports complex we've found in western Sweden. Its main fame derives from its selection in 1974 as the site for the cross-country skiing world championship. Today it contains a large-scale hotel (the below-recommended Scandic), a ski jump, an ice hockey rink, and a sports hall with an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and a steam bath that's the centerpiece for all the other facilities (including miles of cross-country ski tracks and a campground).
