Seffarine Square
This is one of the busiest stops on the guided-tour circuit. One of the oldest trades practiced in Fes is that of the copperware craftsmen, and surrounding Seffarine Square -- and the source of the noisy clanging and banging -- are coppersmiths shaping and polishing all manner of pots, cauldrons, plates, and buckets. It's best viewed while sipping a mint tea at Cremerie la Place in the northeast corner of the small square.
