Arriving

By Train -- Trains arrive at Largo da Estação (tel. 808/208-208), near the bridge. Thirteen trains per day arrive from Coimbra . The cost of the 1-hour trip is 2€ one-way.

By Bus -- The bus station is the Terminal Rodoviária, Rua Herois do Ultramar (tel. 96/890-38-26). Three buses a day arrive from Lisbon; the trip takes 3 hours and costs 13€ one-way.

By Car -- From Leiria, continue north along Route 109.

Visitor Information

The Figueira da Foz Tourist Office is on Avenida do 25 de Abril (tel. 23/342-26-10; www.figueiraturismo.com) and is open daily 9am to 8pm. In summer, it's open until midnight.
