Siuslaw Pioneer Museum
The pioneer settlers in the Siuslaw River area were primarily loggers and fishermen, and the river was their chief means of transportation (and remained so until the 1930s). Housed in a former church building, this museum tells the story of early life in and around Florence with historic displays that include period rooms and artifacts. There’s a small Native American collection, too.
