For the best food in town, head over to 7th and Maple, where La Pomodori cooks up Italian food with a Northwest twist. This is where you can get bruschetta, a caprese salad, sausage gnocchi, and chicken cacciatore. But you can also get Italo-Northwest hybrids like a Reuben on focaccia or Tuscan halibut (served on a bed of spinach with pinenuts and tomatoes). The atmosphere is cozy, and the prices are reasonable for the top quality of the food. It’s a good idea to make a reservation at least a day in advance.
