The LGBTQ Scene in Florence

The gay nightlife scene in Florence is gradually growing. One of the city's dark rooms is the Crisco Club, Via Sant'Egidio 43r, east of the Duomo (tel. 055-248-0580; www.criscoclub.it). Its 18th-century building contains a bar and a dance floor open Tuesday through Saturday from 9pm to 3am (until 5am weekends). Check the website for one-off events and performances.
