The Fontevraud Abbey’s prestigious heritage is reflected in its renowned gastronomic restaurant. Overlooking the Abbey’s cloisters, the vaulted dining room and its minimalistic décor evoke a Medieval refectory. A purist approach is also taken by chef Thibaut Ruggeri in his simple yet exquisite cuisine which allows top-quality, sustainable regional products to shine. In sync with nature, the restaurant’s "lune" menu changes with the moon’s cycle and includes the likes of Lorient blue lobster with blueberries and green beans or Anjou pigeon with eggplant and figs drizzled in the Abbey’s own honey.
