High Noon Beach Resort
The only complaint we have ever about this place is that reservations are tough to score here. So, as one regular guest told us, “don’t wait ‘til high noon to book your stay here.” This immaculate, family-owned property has been in biz for 60 years, and they know what they’re doing. They even specifically state on their website: if you are looking for a big party crowd, with packed pool, loud music, smoking, etc., this isn’t your place. Located directly on the ocean in fun beach town Lauderdale-By-the-Sea, the resort’s four buildings are meticulously maintained, with many rooms overlooking the two fresh water heated pools, which are in turn surrounded by the ocean and lush landscaping. All of the cheerful rooms (done up in striking ocean blues and white) have a fridge, microwave and toaster, and apartments have full kitchens. Staff couldn’t be better: friendly, responsive and smart. The use of bikes is complimentary, as is parking.
