Log Cabin Village
Six mid-19th-century log cabins, presented as a living history museum, were transplanted to Forest Park southwest of downtown in the 1950s. The village includes a gristmill and actors decked out in pioneer costumes, who re-create the Old West of early Cowtown posing as spinners, candle makers, and blacksmiths. Pay a visit primarily if you need an inexpensive way to entertain the kids.
