Planning a trip to Franschhoek

Getting Around -- The town is small enough to traverse on foot, but to visit the wine farms, you may need to hire a car, taxi, or specialist guide. For shuttle services, transfers, and general tours, contact Franschhoek Experience (tel. 083/234-4038) or Winelands Tours (tel. 082/774-2790), or use the Vineyard Hopper (tel. 083/301-6774; R175 per person) to get to four different wine farms.
