Hotel Villa de Laredo
We always think of the skyline in Fuengirola as “the city by the sea,” with so many high-rise hotels shooting straight up into the sky at the edge of the sand. This rather modest hotel with a rooftop swimming pool has a great view of the sandy scene below. It is located smack-dab in the middle of everything, which means you can easily leave the hotel to dine and shop elsewhere. Some rooms have small terraces opening onto the beachside promenade, but even in these, the quarters are rather tight. All in all, if you plan mostly to be out soaking up sun and hitting the bars, a room here offers a pleasant spot to sleep.
