Aside from its good deli sandwiches, it serves a great thin-crust pizza (the shrimp is especially good), baked in a brick oven, and served on stone. Vegetarian options include pasta, some varieties of pizza, sandwiches, and plentiful salads. Save space for dessert, as the Deli makes some of Ecuador's best artisanal ice cream. Go for the tropical fruit flavors—the light green, tangy, citrusy naranjilla being the most exotic, as you can only get it in Ecuador, Colombia, and parts of Central America. Bring your computer, if you must—the Deli has relatively fast Wi-Fi.
