Planning a trip to Gallup

Getting There -- From Albuquerque, take I-40 west (2 1/2 hr.). From Farmington, take US 64 west to Shiprock, and then US 491 south (2 1/2 hr.). From Flagstaff, Arizona, take I-40 east (3 hr.). Gallup is not served by any commercial airlines at this time.

Visitor Information -- The Gallup-McKinley County Chamber of Commerce, 103 W. US 66, Gallup, NM 87301 (tel. 800/242-4282 or 505/722-2228; www.thegallupchamber.com), is just south of the main I-40 interchange for downtown Gallup.
