Planning a trip to Giardini-Naxos

Getting There

By Bus -- Interbus (tel. 0942-625301; www.interbus.it) runs buses from the terminal in Taormina at Via Luigi Pirandello; a one-way ticket costs 1.50€. Service is daily, every half-hour from 8am to midnight and takes 30 minutes.

By Train -- Giardini-Naxos shares the same rail depot as Taormina. If you're driving from Taormina, take the SS114 south. From Messina, follow autostrada A18 south, exiting at the turnoff for Giardini-Naxos.

Visitor Information

The tourist office, Via Lungomare 20 (tel. 0942-51010), is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 2pm and 4 to 7pm, Saturday 8:30am to 2pm.
