Located just across the North Fork of the Flathead River from the park, this is one of my favorite value-priced lodgings in Montana. That may have to do with the hospitality as much as the digs: Proprietor Oliver Meister is a Glacier ranger and a great source of advice and information. And at this picturesque spot, there is something for everyone, from shared hostel rooms to small, bare-bones cabins to fully equipped, solar-powered log homes. There is also a pair of tipis and a campground, as well as a shared kitchen in the main house.
