From its location 5 miles up Four Mile Creek from Glenwood Springs—thus the name—this 1885 homestead has one of the prettiest locations of any B&B in Colorado. The country-style furnishings are a nice match for the setting, nestled in the gardens and aspen groves below a verdant mountainside. Two rooms are in the main house, and there are two cabins and a suite in the old red barn, the site of guitar-picking jam sessions and movie nights. The innkeepers also manage a nearby guesthouse that sleeps up to 18 people.
