Nightlife on Grand Cayman rocks to a scheduled rhythm. On Tuesday, it’s Salsa Night at the Wharf and you won’t want to miss it. The deck is built on pilings and it’s sensational to dance over the water, but it’s covered in case there's a shower and there’s room for enough flashy lights (and a mirrored disco ball) to keep all comers moving. Go with the DJs picks or as, is the custom, make a request of your own. Start the night with free dance lessons between 9pm and 10pm. There is no cover charge.

On Friday nights you’ll hear some of the best local bands. Get there early for free appetizers during happy hour from 5pm to 7pm, when there are deals on the ice-cold cocktails. Signature drinks are frozen concoctions, from piña coladas to daquiris with two versions of mudslides.

While you're there, check out the menu as you pass by the Wharf Restaurant on your way down to the dance floor. You’ll most likely want to come back and give this island favorite a try.
