Western Colorado Botanical Gardens
This botanical garden along the Colorado River offers a delightful escape into the natural world. Located on 15 acres, the facility s home to more than 600 exotic tropical plants, both indoors and outside. In the butterfly house, visitors stroll through a lush forest of flowering plants and ferns. The adjacent greenhouse has orchids and other colorful tropical varieties, as well as sculptures and a fish pond. Walkways connect the botanical gardens with trails on the Colorado River. Allow 1 or 2 hours.
