This is one of the most opulent and prestigious hotels in Grenoble, a government-rated four-star venue overlooking Parc Paul-Mistral that welcomes most of the important politicians and entertainment-industry moguls who visit the region. Since it was taken over by AccorHotels, its prices have become pretty competitive, too. On the lower floors of a mid-1960s tower mostly devoted to private condominiums, it’s a short drive south of Grenoble’s commercial center and close to City Hall. Each guest room is decorated differently, with a blend of dignified (sometimes antique) furniture, state-of-the-art lighting, and modern red fittings and upholstery.
