In The Northern Section
There are a few seafood joints, family restaurants, and pubs in town. But the best fancy food in these parts is at the dining room of the Sugar Hill Inn, between Rocky Harbour and Norris Point (listed under "Hotels"). Its menu features lots of local seafood, homemade desserts, an excellent wine list, and water from the inn's own well; the bright room is comfortable, too, with its leather chairs and pine floor and ceiling. It's open to the public nightly from 6 to 8:30pm, and they take reservations.
