This casual little spot in a clapboard building overlooking the ocean is consistently the best eatery on Pender Island. It is unpretentious and friendly, with lots of options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. The chef-owners work with local farmers, and make their own cheese and smoke their own meat. They serve a terrific chowder, excellent burgers, a luxurious smoked sablefish salad, and, of course, a very respectable fish and chips. Great view, great food; this is a must when you visit Pender.
