Douzan
With an eclectic menu that combines French and Arabic traditions, plus a good wine list, Douzan is a step above its compatriots in this restaurant-jammed part of town. Partially that has to do with the service, which is unusually warm and gracious (this is a family owned place). And the food is always solid, particularly if you stick with the Middle Eastern specialties. Like Fattoush, Douzan offers a terrace on the Ben Gurion Pedestrian Mall with lovely vistas of the Baha’i Center and Gardens stretching up Mt. Carmel.
