This nine-story, boutique hotel is one of the best mid-range options in the Old Quarter, and is a favorite base for business people from both Europe and Japan. The superior rooms are adequately furnished, but they are a bit small and offer no kind of view, while the more spacious deluxe rooms are out back and thus are saved the worst of the traffic noise. Rooms are decorated in earth tones and many have floor-to-ceiling windows, letting in plenty of light. Other attractions to the Quoc Hoa are the splendidly alert staff, who are ready to answer any query, an excellent Italian restaurant on the top floor, and a cozy cafe on the ground floor behind the lobby.
