The Tirant is one of the newer hotels in the Old Quarter, and currently the tallest, so from the restaurant and pool on the top floors there are views of the lake, which is a definite plus. The classic, deluxe, and premium rooms are all well-equipped with flat-screen TVs, wood floors, work desks, and attractive art work on the walls, but for a touch of luxury, go for a Tirant suite on the upper floors and enjoy the expansive views of this multi-faceted city from your private balcony. As often happens with new hotels in Vietnam, staff are extremely enthusiastic and willing to go out of their way to help guests in any way. Only time will tell if such enthusiasm can be maintained.
