This unassuming place, tucked away on a side street near Ben Thanh market, is a real find and is often packed with locals. The menu includes imported steaks as well as lots of Vietnamese favorites and a good range of drinks. I can thoroughly recommend the fish with shallots and Chardonnay sauce, just one of many inviting items. The decor is very smart, with graphic, modern artwork on the walls, and they've now opened a second branch at number 52, two doors away. Service isn't always spot-on when it's busy, but at these prices you can't expect everything.
