The Temple Club is so named because it once functioned as a guest house for visitors to the Hindu temple across the street. It has now been beautifully restored and offers one of Ho Chi Minh City's most atmospheric dining locations. Take a seat in the stylish dining area with exposed brick walls, chunky wooden seats and tables, hanging lanterns, and patterned tile floor to enjoy a classic Vietnamese dish such as pork in clay pot or cha ca Hanoi —grilled fish with dill and garlic. Afterwards, retire to the retro lounge at the back for a coffee or liqueur and a taste of Old Saigon.
