Panorama actually delivers what its name promises, with views of the harbor from its more expensive rooms beginning on the 16th floor, with better panoramas the higher you go (all but the cheapest also offer free in-room Wi-Fi). Or, stay on a lower floor and spend what you've saved at the hotel's restaurant (Ava Slash Bar) serving international fare on the 38th floor, where the views are wonderful. In any case, be sure to bring your own drinks and settle in to enjoy the nightly Symphony of Lights or simply the view on the 40th-floor Sky Garden, a rather optimistic name for what is essentially just an outdoor area with views. This hotel has a great location, on a side street near near the MTR and Nathan Road, but another hotel I like under the same management is Hotel LKF (www.hotel-lkf.com.hk), which sits smack dab in Lan Kwai Fong but is blessedly high and aloof with stylish rooms and a great restaurant/bar with an open terrace.
