Most visitors don't overnight in Icheon, but you may wish to if you're heading out to places beyond the next day. There are a large number of lower-end, midpriced (by South Korean standards) yeogwan, inns, and motels in town, many located around the bus terminal and some in the ceramics village. No matter what they are called, they are all very similar, offering both Western-style and ondol rooms for about W30,000 on weekdays and W40,000 to W50,000 on weekends for doubles. The owners usually don't speak much English, but it's not difficult to get a room at the last minute (except during the ceramics festival). As with a majority of motels in Korea, you pay cash upfront. These are a couple of higher-end accommodations where you can make reservations in advance.
