Inishowen Maritime Museum & Planetarium
Overlooking Loch Foyle, this small but engaging museum packs all it can into the old coastguard building for the harbor town of Greencastle. It follows the town’s maritime history from the armadas of the 16th century through emigration to the modern-day lifeboat crews and their selflessly heroic work. There’s also a planetarium, complete with a full-dome digital theater presenting more or less hourly shows such as “Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure” and “Dynamic Earth.”
