Need to deeply exhale? Take a few nights at this serene, impeccably kept bed and breakfast just up the hill from gorgeous Crane Beach. Once a beach cottage for the Crane family, the Inn has been open to the public and operated by a nonprofit nature conservancy since 2000. Rooms are comfy and quiet—you won’t find TVs or other distracting gadgetry. At sun-up you can head to the beach (chairs, towels, beach bag, and admission all included). After dark you can stargaze from the formidable stone front porch. The Inn is closed January through March and open weekends only in November and December. Note that the Inn only hosts children ages 13 and up, and only two rooms are able to accommodate a third person.
