The fanciest restaurant on Playa Norte is a good place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or a romantic dinner. It’s quieter than the beach bars, and has a lovely setting beside white sand and turquoise waters. Breakfast is the best meal, in my opinion, because there’s a perfect yogurt, granola, and fruit plate and several vegetarian options including a goat cheese, tomato, and basil omelet, chilaquiles with salsa verde and fried eggs, and several healthy juices including the sometimes essential detox Verde (green detox).  Come night, candlelight sparkles underneath the open-air palapa. Specialties include panko-crusted fish with mango sauce, a bountiful seafood platter with scallops, shrimp, fish, octopus, and mussels, and a filet mignon
