Located just outside the Grand Bazaar, this treasure trove of a store could be just what you need if the bazaar itself gets a bit much. It was established in 1976 by the well-known antique dealer, Kaşif, who still runs the shop today and is a fountain of knowledge on the local antique scene. It stocks engravings, jewelry, contemporary and antique art, Ottoman tableware, ornaments, sculptures, calligraphy, ceramics, vintage sewing machines, and a whole lot more. It's easy to pass some time in here admiring the wealth of their collection which spans many eras and continents. Even you don't plan on investing in some art or antiques, you can also pick up CDs, books, and Turkish cookery books from here. Take the time to browse and have a chat and you're sure to learn a thing or two.
