Salt Air Inn and Suites
This cute motel gets top marks from us for its prime location (an easy stroll to both restaurants and the beach), its genuinely caring staff, and for the fun spin they’ve taken with the beachy decor. Rooms have a retro 1950’s vibe, are painted in peppy aquas and navy blues, some with a touch of fire engine red, with captain’s wheels on the wall, lots of pelicans and seahorses everywhere (on lamps, in paintings, and in cute sculptures), and wicker furnishings. And they all have kitchenettes—a real plus. The Sea Air Motel had been in business here since 1946. This iteration was the result of a gut reno in 2022, which added soundproofing to the walls, and a swimming pool.
