Planning a trip to Jekyll Island

Getting There -- From Brunswick, take U.S. 17 South to the turnoff for Jekyll Island. Head east across the Jekyll Island Causeway, paying a daily parking fee of $6 per vehicle to enter the island at the Guest Information Center (weekly pass $28).

Visitor Information -- The Jekyll Island Guest Information Center, located about 4 miles down the Causeway, 901 Jekyll Island Causeway (tel. 912/635-3636; www.jekyllisland.com), is open daily from 9am to 5pm, dispensing maps, brochures, and other helpful information.
