HaSadna-The Culinary Workshop

Another one of the wildly innovative dining establishments under the Machne Yuda Group umbrella, this one was formed to find a meeting point between what they call “Oriental home cooking” and Israeli Mediterranean cuisine. That’s a squishy concept, but note that what comes out of it is usually wildly delicious, whether it's a tuna sashimi with a lemongrass and yogurt “salsa”; smoked brisket (all the cured meats are topnotch here); or a splendid corn and seafood piste.  The look of the place is artfully industrial, and there are a number of seating areas, but we recommend grabbing a spot underneath the Edison-bulbed orbs hanging in the bar since the bartenders delight in doling out shots of arak (the local liquor of choice). They’ll also have primo recommendations for what to sink your teeth into first. The on-point advice comes in handy; without it, you just may end up ordering everything in sight.
