The food at this restaurant is among the very best in Jerusalem and is run by the same wonderful chef who once headed the team of Little Jerusalem in the historic, much-loved home of Abraham and Anna Ticho. You will always feel like one of their favored guests when you dine here, because every dish is prepared in a way that includes special, surprising twists. That’s despite the fact that they seem, on the surface, to be fairly standard: salads, crepes and quiches, various sorts of pasta and fish. But the salads will be super-fresh, the pastas innovative, and the fruits of the sea perfectly prepared. Don’t be shy about bringing kids, as there’s a children’s menu. And if you’re on a diet, ask for the low-calorie menu (also quite delish). Five afternoons a week from noon to 2pm live classical music is played, and different live performances every evening from 8 to 10pm (check the Piccolino website for the weekly schedule).
