Located in the Zionist Confederation House (just behind the King David Hotel, with fine views of the Old City walls), this is Jerusalem’s gourmet all-vegetarian restaurant. Chef Patrick Melki, who comes from the south of France, can make his carefully chosen ingredients sing with purity, but his menu also includes an array of special dishes from different parts of the world, each served on a different day of the week. Desserts are worthwhile here and run from an unusual eggplant and honey creation to sorbets.
