Getting There & Getting Around

Jimbaran is on the road to Nusa Dua, 1.5km (less than 1 mile) south of Kuta. Cabs are plentiful and cost Rp110,000. Bemos are not available here. Walking is the best way to get a feel for life in Jimbaran village. The morning provides the opportunity to see offerings placed in every nook and cranny, children in their uniforms heading to school, and mothers going to and from the market.

Fast Facts -- At the Kimia Farmacy, Jl. Gunung Batur A-3 (tel. 0361/847-9785), a doctor is on-site daily from 4 to 10pm to consult for any minor ailments.
