This innovative lodging complex consists of a trio of handsomely renovated homes near the park entrance. We’d say they’re the snazziest places to hang your hat in the Joshua Tree area, as all include usable kitchens, hot tubs, outdoor fireplaces and lots of retro-inspired style. There is the one-room Luna Mesa, perfect for couples; the Sky House, a two-bedroom place with a commanding view; and—my favorite—Villa Rocosa, a contemporary remodel of a homesteader's cabin built around boulders in the living room. Yoga and Pilates classes are available, as is massage.
