The style of this barroom near the cruise-ship dock is Wild West, with sawdust on the floor, and tourists as generally the intended clientele, but it’s still a fun place for a beer. Past the "Gents check your side arms, Ladies welcome" sign and the red swinging doors is a rowdy, fun atmosphere and decent pub grub (including Angus beer burgers and Alaskan clam chowder). The history of this place dates to the city's mining heyday. Just don’t expect a quiet meal. Recently added around the corner (on Manila Square) is a huge Red Dog souvenir shop.
