Restaurants in Jupiter

In addition to the national fast-food joints that line Indiantown Road and U.S. 1, you'll find a number of touristy fish restaurants serving battered and fried everything.

Jupiter also has a number of restaurants with spectacular views, like 1000 North, 1000 US 1, (tel. 561/570-1000) on the Loxahatchee River, has views of the Jupiter Lighthouse to go with its modern American regional cuisine. Also on the Jupiter Inlet waterway is Jetty’s, 1075 N AIA, (tel. 561/743-8166), an old Florida fave, featuring deck seating and fresh fish and shellfish.

For a beachy vibe, U-Tiki Beach, 1095 N. A1A (tel. 561/406-2210), features breathtaking views of the Jupiter Inlet from its sandy, tiki-torched beachfront seating, great cocktails, and fabulous hogfish tacos.

It’s adults only at The Square Grouper, 1111 Love St., Jupiter (tel. 561/406-6417), where the local boating community convenes for lots of drinks, live music, and hamburgers and hot dogs.

On the Intracoastal is the lushly landscaped hideaway Guanabana’s, 960 N. A1A, Jupiter (tel. 561/747-8878), a completely outdoor, tiki-hutted hot spot that’s always packed thanks to an impressive roster of live music, Florida blue crab, potent drinks, and even a Justin Bieber sighting.

Tucked away at the tony Jupiter Yacht Club Marina is the ironically named Dive Bar, 318 S. US 1 (tel. 561/747-4767), which is anything but with its open-air bar featuring a giant saltwater aquarium as well as serious sushi and sashimi.
