The definition of charming, this much-needed stylish but cozy bistro in Old Koloa Town doesn’t accept reservations for parties of fewer than six—reason enough to make a few friends at the pool to join you for dinner. Still, walk-ins will find it worth the possible wait for a table, handmade from wine crates by co-owner Dan Seltzer; don’t hesitate to sit at the small but handsome bar either. Stalwarts on the seasonal, home-style menu include spicy veggie arrabiata, rib-sticking lasagne Bolognese, pan-roasted chicken, seared pork tenderloin with capers, and hanger steak with Gorgonzola polenta. At breakfast or the expanded Sunday brunch, French toast made with Hawaiian sweet bread, Brie, bacon, and raspberry jam provides the ultimate guilty pleasure, balanced by the Caprese-style egg-white frittata. Sunday brunch includes a make-your-own Bloody Mar bar ($7).
