Frommer's Staff

This Elizabethan mansion was constructed in the 1500s by James Bellingham. Today, the house is filled with Jacobean furniture and a working model steam train collection. The estate also has a topiary garden dating from 1692, with a host of yews and box hedges clipped into a variety of intriguing shapes.
