Not actually a restaurant at all, but a food truck that you’ll usually find parked in the main square, Wharton’s is proof that not all the best dining experiences come with a hefty price tag, This is an outstanding “chipper,” with a traditional menu—who would have it any other way with fish and chips?—although asking if you’d prefer your fish battered or fried in breadcrumbs is a nice twist. It’s nothing fancy, but that’s half the point—this is real Irish fast food.
