Getting There

The airport in Khorat is no longer operational, but there are numerous daily trains from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Station (tel. 1690), and frequent bus connections from Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal, Mo Chit (tel. 02936-2841). It's about a 3-hour journey by train or bus.
