From the harbor at Ross Castle, the MV Pride of the Lake takes you on an hour-long waterborne tour. The covered boat ride is a little on the touristy side—and very popular, so you might want to make reservations—but the views of the park from the lake are gorgeous. You can also take a tour that combines a lake cruise with a “jaunting car” ride around the park. Note: You can get to the pier by Ross Castle on a free shuttle bus from Killarney town center. It leaves Scotts Street (by the junction with East Avenue Road) a quarter of an hour before each sailing.
