There’s something wonderfully bright and cheerful about this sweet place. Hosts Pat and Anne have done a beautiful job in converting the 19th-century townhouse into a B&B, with chic color schemes and subtle splashes of modern art. A few of the bedrooms have little balconies, and guests are welcome to bring wine back with them if they want to spend a leisurely hour admiring the views of the harbor or garden. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. You’ll have to fend for yourself at dinner, but this is hardly a chore in foodie-friendly Kinsale.
