There is also daily bus service from Dubrovnik via the car ferry. For ferry information, contact the Jadrolinija office (; tel. 020/715-410) in Korččula Town. Bus schedules and fare information can be obtained at the Korčula Town bus station (tel. 060/373-060).

Getting Around -- Local buses make five runs daily from Korčula Town to Vela Luka, covering the length of the island. You can also rent a bike and easily pedal the 6km (4 miles) between Korčula Town and Lumbarda, where the best beaches are. At its widest point, Korčula is about 8km (5 miles) wide and it is less than 32km (20 miles) long.
