Filipi holds down a prime waterside terrace on the Old Town peninsula. Opened in 2012, the restaurant already has a firm following of aficionados, who come to savor innovative contemporary cuisine like Adriatic tuna served on black beluga lentils with okra, or duck breast with rosemary polenta, red onion chutney, and sour orange sauce. Filipi also does a special children’s menu. The smart wine list highlights small producers from nearby Pelješac, Korčula, and Hvar. The results are pricy, but worth it; reservations are recommended.
