Konoba Adio Mare

Founded back in 1974, Adio Mare stands close to the Marco Polo House, in an old building with exposed stone walls, long wooden tables (you may be expected to sit with other guests), and an upper level terrace lined with potted geraniums. The menu features old favorites such as bean and pasta soup, pasticada (beef stewed in wine with prunes), and barbecued fish. There’s an open-plan kitchen, so you can watch the cooks at work. It can get a bit chaotic when it’s busy (reservations are recommended), but the atmosphere is fast and fun.
